DEBUT SINGLE 'DO I HAUNT YOU' OUT NOW!

'Do I Haunt You' was written after hearing the phrase "it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all", originating from a poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson in 1850. This phrase stuck in my head while I couldn't help but think, although very poetic and beautiful, is it really true? I came to the conclusion that sometimes, loosing someone can be so painful that it may make you wish that you never met them in the first place to avoid the pain. No matter the circumstances, loosing a loved one forces you to go through a grieving process to get used to the empty space where they once stood. Sometimes that includes blaming yourself for the circumstances and wishing that you could have done things differently. Throughout this process, it can make you feel as if you are being 'haunted' with places and moments triggering memories that makes you think of them. 'Do I Haunt You'  dives into that grieving process, from the pain and the blame, eventually reaching a point of 'freedom'. Inspired by a mixture of Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, I worked closely with Maximo Music who produced, mixed and mastered the track and I am so proud of it. I can't wait to hear what you think of it.
